Getting Started Checklist
Complete the steps below to get your family fully registered and ready to participate in Troop 1887.

Complete Scout & Adult Application Forms
Submit the official BSA online registration for your scout and any participating adults. Click the link below to access the troop's registration portal.

Complete the Troop Permission Form
The troop permission form authorizes your scout to participate in troop activities and outings. This form will be provided by the troop at your first meeting.

Complete the Vehicle Information Form
Required for any parent or adult who drives scouts to or from activities. This form collects driver license information for all drivers. The committee chair will provide this form.

Complete BSA Medical Forms
All scouts and adult leaders must have current BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) forms on file. The committee chair will provide the parent resource packet which includes these required medical forms.

Complete Youth Protection Training
All registered adult volunteers are required to complete BSA Youth Protection Training (YPT) before participating in troop activities. Training is free and takes approximately 90 minutes. Complete it online at MyScouting.org.

Get Access to Scoutbook Plus
Troop 1887 uses Scoutbook Plus for all troop communications, announcements, calendar updates, and reference information. Once your registration is processed, the troop will send you an invitation to access Scoutbook Plus.
